The Denver Squarespace Website Designers At Agave Studio Create a brand and website that’s music to one’s ears
We had such a fun time working on this brand identity and custom Squarespace website project with our friends over at Affirm Music Therapy in Fort Collins!
The Brief
The creative brief for this project was fairly simple: Affirm needed a brand and website that could transcend generations since Cecily works with children, adults and the elderly. The brand needed to be calming while also making a statement that could stand out from the other music therapists in the area. Cecily also wanted to feature a guitar in some way since that’s usually her instrument of choice during sessions. Other instruments she uses could be used in photos throughout the website and other marketing collateral. While Agave was getting started on the brand and website, our friends over at Mojave Moon Photography held a photoshoot at Cecily’s practice to get some images of instruments she uses in her sessions. You can see these featured throughout the website!
The Process
Once we sat down with Cecily to get her thoughts on her new brand and website, the brand identity and website design experts at Agave Studio got to work formulating a strategy to create a new musically-inspired brand and website for Affirm. We started by creating two stylescapes (or “elevated moodboards” and we like to describe them as) and reviewing them with Cecily. Once we reviewed the stylescapes, we went through a few rounds of revisions with the Fort Collins music therapist to refine her new brand, and make sure it was representative of how she wanted to present her practice to the world. Once we nailed down the brand, Affirm sent us all of their website content upfront and Agave got to work on the Squarespace website design. After a round of additions to the site, including Cecily’s furry business partners on the “About” page, the Squarespace developers at Agave Studio performed their quality assurance process and launched the Affirm site. The Result
The result is a gorgeous, musically-inspired brand that lays the foundation for Cecily to continue building her brand in Northern Colorado and beyond! The colors and typefaces are calming yet make a statement; and the guitar illustration and pick represent the music therapist’s favorite instrument to use when in sessions with her clients. Agave Studio designed the website so that it could grow with the practice in the future and the powerful Squarespace tools ensure Affirm can meet clients where they’re at. Overall, the website and brand is representative of the practice and the clients Cecily serves on a daily basis.
