A New Custom Squarespace Site Fit For a Queen
California Singer/songwriter Miriam McQueen turns to Fort Collins Web Designers Agave Studio for a new website
Every once in a while it’s important to refresh your website. That was the case with Colorado singer/songwriter Miriam McQueen who needed a new website design to match her latest EP plus links to all her streaming profiles.
The Brief
The brief from Miriam’s manager was fairly simple: create a new website that reflected Miriam’s music and got people to the streaming service of their choice to listen to her music. Thankfully, the Squarespace and web design experts at Agave Studio knew exactly how to take this brief and crush it, but also take it to the next level. Learn more about how we did it below.
The Process
The process of building a new site for Miriam was a fairly easy process. Luckily, she already had a Squarespace site to begin with so the foundation was build. The Squarespace experts at Agave Studio were able to install a new and updated template in the back-end of the site and rebuild without interrupting the current site. After the new template was installed, Agave got to work transforming the site to match the design and aesthetic Miriam’s latest EP, and using the powerful Squarespace tools to create not only a beautiful, but also functional website. The Result
The result, as we mentioned in the introduction, is a mobile-responsive Squarespace website fit for a queen. Miriam’s name and aesthetic shine through in the hero image and she’s joined by multiple calls-to-action to listen to her music. Links to her social profiles and streaming profiles are now included in the header giving people the option to listen on Spotify, Apple Music, etc. As you scroll through the homepage, Miriam’s personality is shown through her “About” section, a spot for her music videos and a section for upcoming live shows to round everything out.
The interior of the site received a refresh as well. The “New Music” page received a refresh with Miriam’s singles and EP’s alongside links to streaming services to listen to them. A brand new “Contact” page was created for venues to get in contact to book her for live shows.
