Windsor Home DEcorator creates an inviting and Polished brand with Brand Designers at Agave Studio
Don’t you love it when things just fall into place? We were lucky enough to get to work with our very own good friend Sonia, who is taking a leap of faith and starting her own home decorating business. She landed on the name “The Semi Custom” with a little help from our brand experts here at Agave, but it encompasses perfectly what she wants to do. We wanted to create a brand for her that reflected her refined style, alongside being inviting for potential clients.
The Brief
Sonia came to us with an idea. She wanted to start a social profile that could grow into a blog, and eventually a business that could run side by side with her real estate career. We immediately thought, what a fantastic idea and what a cool way to showcase her awesome eye for home decorating and design. Sonia wanted an elegant logo that wouldn’t outshine her portfolio of work. We think we hit the mark, but take a look at how we got to where we did below.
The Process
As with all of our branding projects, we work heavily with our clients to create a brand that they not only love, but will resonate with their target market. During our brand discovery call, Agave and Sonia came to the conclusion that her potential clients would likely be homeowners, mostly women between the ages of 25-55. This group tends to be drawn more to simple brands with natural and muted colors.
After our initial brand discovery call, Agave created two viable options for Sonia to choose from as a direction for her new brand. In the end, she decided on a script font for the main logo, and a badge logo for social media alongside some neutral colors to really let her work shine through. Check out the result below!
The REsult
The result is a gorgeous logo and brand for her Windsor home decorating business. The logo is elegant yet inviting to welcome in potential future clients who need some help with their interior decoration.
