Fort Collins based Agave Studio redesigns a Squarespace site for Penta West Digital Marketing
Sometimes things just need a little refresh, don’t you think? Here at Agave Studio we love elevating someone’s website or brand into something they’re proud of; and that’s exactly what happened with our friends over at Penta West. Our good friend Reggie came to us wanting a complete redesign of her site from top to bottom and the Squarespace designers at Agave Studio knew exactly where to start. We upgraded Penta West’s site from Squarespace 7.0 to Squarespace 7.1 and gave it a refresh with bold colors and fonts. Check out how we did it below.
The Brief
Admittedly, we can all lose track of our own websites and creative work once the client work starts rolling in. It even happens to us here at Agave Studio! When Penta West came to us to redesign their outdated Squarespace website, we knew exactly what to do to modernize and create a great experience. This included creating a new and improved website overall, but also making sure the content management systems in place on the new website were easy to use and helped Penta West market themselves. In addition to the user experience, the Boulder agency wanted to see some pops of color on the site, and some new imagery. Not necessarily a tall order, but it did take some creativity to choose colors that would complement the content on the site.
The Process
The Squarespace web design and development specialists at Agave Studio got to work redesigning the agency’s website. We started with creating a brand new site in Squarespace 7.1, choosing the website’s color palette of a lavender purple and bright yellow for calls to action, and last but not least, choosing a bold yet sophisticated font for the headings to call attention to specific content. The SEO specialists at Agave Studio also created two new blogs for Penta West to share educational content plus another blog to share digital marketing tips and tricks for small businesses. We also added in fun imagery of plants to help convey that the agency was there to help “grow” your business, and who doesn’t love plants?
The Result
The results really speak for themselves. Penta West has a brand new website that creates a great user experience for their current and potential clients. The bold use of color and typography sets the digital marketing agency apart from their competitors by creating a fun yet refined look. New content layouts show off the Boulder agency’s services and the new blogs educate businesses on why they need digital marketing. We’re fans!
