Meanwhile Park came to us looking for a Squarespace website that would not only be a showcase for private events and merchandise, but also let their imagery shine as the main star. The Squarespace website designers and developers at Agave Studio got to work on building not only a website that was beautiful, but also had a great user experience. All of this culminated in a visually stunning website that could also be a sales machine.

The Website Design Brief

Meanwhile Park had imagery and a brand, including a logo and colors, ready for the website and was essentially needing a Squarespace designer and developer to put it all together for an unforgettable experience. This included a clean and minimal website that made the colorful imagery the main star. Alongside the design requests, Meanwhile Park was also looking for an eCommerce side of their website, which is made so easy on the Squarespace platform. The brief was fairly simple: create a beautiful website that could also sell tickets and merchandise.

The Design Process

The Squarespace experts at Agave Studio got to work building the new website with the assets in hand. We wanted to make sure the site flowed with the imagery and brand and showcased events in a clean and concise manner. Since Meanwhile Park was looking to sell tickets to special events, such as movie nights, plus set up an online store for merchandise, we set up Squarespace eCommerce to make sure the event space could sell both. This included creating an event calendar, with product blocks for ticket sales plus a store for physical products. Once the logistics of the site were nailed down, the Squarespace website designers and developers got started on ensuring the site was not only beautiful, but also functional.

The Result

The result is a clean and minimal site that showcases Meanwhile Park’s events, such as movie nights, and merchandise like hoodies, t-shirts and other speciality items. The site’s imagery shines through as the headliner with the muted color palette letting the images, events and products take center stage. The event space is able to create events and sell tickets and merchandise through the ease of the Squarespace eCommerce platform, which also makes it easy for event-goers to purchase and receive their items.
