Denver Squarespace Website Designers Create An Online Portfolio For Fort Collins Wildlife Photographer
You may recognize this project from a previous blog post since we also did the logo for our good friend Jackson. He also asked the expert Squarespace designers here at Agave to create a website to showcase his amazing wildlife photography, and we delivered! Using the new Squarespace portfolio page, the Denver Squarespace website designers were able to create a website fit for the king (of the jungle).
The Brief
Jackson needed a website that matched his new brand to showcase his wildlife photography from all around the world. The Squarespace team at Agave sat down with the wildlife photographer and discussed his needs and wants for the new site. We decided that the main “call to action” needed to be to buy prints of his photography. A secondary “call to action” could be to contact him for commissions, but this could be added at a later date if he wanted to. The brief was simple and well… brief.
The Process
Since the Denver Squarespace website designers and developers at Agave Studio already designed the brand and logo for the wildlife photographer, it was a fairly simple process to integrate the brand into the website. The Squarespace experts started out by getting Jackson’s favorite photos from him, and then went a little wild placing photos on the home page, creating galleries and creating stunning layouts with the new Fluid Editor. Overall, the Squarespace designers had a website ready to go for Jackson in less than a month so he could start showing off his work almost immediately.
The Result
The result is an easy to navigate and mobile-friendly website for the world traveling photographer to showcase his amazing photography work. The home page utilizes the versatility of the new design tools of Squarespace 7.1 to create a compelling page that also links through to categories of Jackson’s work. Once you click into the portfolio pages, galleries take you through a journey to different continents and landscapes. The best part? If you want a print of one of Jackson’s photos, all you have to do is click on the image and it’ll take you to buy a print.
